Counselling Contract

Confidentiality

I will keep everything you tell me confidential and only break confidentiality if I judge there is a serious risk to you or others, or if I am obliged to by law. Whenever possible I will seek to discuss this with you before breaking that confidentiality.

I adhere to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy’s Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

As is standard good practice, I meet regularly with a professional supervisor to support my work. Supervisors work to the same confidentiality standards.

I will hold your information securely in accordance with the national General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) both electronically and in hard copy.

Payments

You will need to pay your fee before each counselling session below:

Please make your transfer 48 hours in advance.

Cancellations

In the event of cancellation of an appointment, other than for certified medical reasons, half the fee will be due, if more than 48 hours’ notice of cancellation is given. If less than 48 hours’ notice of cancellation is given, the full fee will be due.
